THE OBSIDIAN PATH

See clearly. Choose consciously. Move forward with intention.

Transformation does not necessarily begin with doing more.

It often begins with better understanding where you are, what really matters to you, and where to invest your energy.

The Obsidian Path is a process of lucidity and human transformation designed to help you better understand what supports you, what holds you back, and what could create the most movement in your life.

THE OBSIDIAN PATH

What if the first step was to see things more clearly?

Many of us know what we should do. We've read, learned, tried, and tried again. Yet, despite our abilities and intentions, sometimes we feel like we're moving forward without necessarily knowing if we're moving in the right direction.

The Obsidian Path was born from a simple conviction:

Before any lasting transformation comes lucidity.

Understand where you are today.
Identify what really matters.
Recognize what supports you and what slows you down.
Then consciously choose where to invest your energy.

It's not about changing everything.

It's about better understanding where to focus your efforts to create concrete movement in your life.

WHY "OBSIDIAN"?

A material shaped under pressure

Obsidian is a volcanic rock born in extreme conditions.

Raw and dark in appearance, it can become incredibly sharp and reflective.

We see in it a powerful metaphor for human development.

Experiences, challenges, and pressure shape us. But they don't necessarily determine who we should become.

With enough clarity, what has shaped us can also become a source of clarity, choice, and transformation.

This is the approach we call The Obsidian Path

LUCIDITY

You cannot permanently transform what you cannot clearly see.

Lucidity is the starting point of The Obsidian Path.

It consists of looking at our reality as it is today — without judgment, without seeking the perfect answer and without confusing the person we are with the person we believe we should be.

To facilitate this reflection, we have developed tools to explore six major dimensions that constantly interact in our lives.

THE SIX OBSIDIAN PILLARS

One system. Six dimensions. Your reality.

 WHY

This gives direction to your energy .

Clarify what really matters to you and what gives meaning and coherence to your choices and actions.

MINDSET

The way you interpret what happens to you.

Becoming aware of how your inner dialogue, beliefs, and perception of your limits influence your decisions, behaviors, and ability to move forward.

motivation
compass

MOTIVATION

The energy and momentum that sets you in motion.

Better understand what truly fuels your motivation and learn to keep moving forward when initial enthusiasm fluctuates.

methode

METHOD

The way your intentions become actions.

Transform your intentions into actions through a clear, realistic, planned and tailored approach to your reality.

habitudes
compass

HABITS

The small, repeated actions that shape your daily life.

Identify the behaviors that bring you closer to or further from what you truly want and learn how to gradually change them.

environnement

ENVIRONMENT

Your surroundings influence who you become.

Become aware of the influence of your surroundings, your context and your environment on your ability to move forward — and then learn to better put them at your service.

These dimensions do not function independently. They form a system. Acting in the right place can sometimes produce an effect far beyond a single pillar.

THE STARTING POINT

START BY SEEING MORE CLEARLY

Two tools. Two levels of reflection.

You don't need to know about the Obsidian Compass™ to get started.

Simply choose the level of reflection that matches what you need today.

Obsidian™ Mapping

Go further in understanding your current situation.

The Mapping offers a much deeper exploration of the six Obsidian pillars.

It allows you to examine not only your current reality, but also:

  • the importance you place on each dimension;

  • your level of satisfaction;

  • your main points of friction;

  • their influence on your daily life;

  • the possible domino effects of a change;

  • the interactions between your different pillars.

For those who wish to delve deeper into their thinking.

The Obsidian Compass™

Quick test

A quick initial exploration of your six pillars to identify the area that could have the most impact on your life today.

The Compass helps you gain perspective on:

  • what is currently supporting you;

  • which creates friction;

  • the sphere that perhaps deserves more of your attention;

  • your level of openness to change;

  • your next opportunity for growth.

This is neither a personality test nor an assessment of your worth.

It's a thinking tool designed to help you see things more clearly.

Allow approximately 5 minutes.

The Lucidity Journal

Seeing things more clearly sometimes requires slowing down.

A questionnaire can reveal something.

A deeper reflection often helps to understand why.

The Obsidian Lucidity Journal was designed as a personal space for you to stop, step back, and put words to what you are observing.

Not to find all the answers.

But first, to start asking better questions.

Who are we?

Two paths. One shared fascination with human potential.

The Obsidian Path was born from the meeting of two different human journeys, but from a shared conviction:

Sustainable human transformation rarely begins with a recipe. It begins with a better understanding of oneself.

François Leduc

Entrepreneur | Leader | Kinesiologist | Freediving Instructor and Trainer

François Leduc has been interested in human potential since long before making it his profession. He has practiced traditional karate since the age of 14, a discipline that has profoundly influenced his understanding of commitment, progress, and the relationship with oneself.

A kinesiologist by training, he has dedicated nearly 30 years to the fitness, health, and wellness industry, including more than two decades as a manager and director. This experience has allowed him to support teams, develop organizations, and, above all, observe firsthand what enables individuals to transform their intentions into lasting actions.

An entrepreneur, he then founded ApneaCity , where his passion for freediving became a new learning laboratory on self-control, adaptation, and the ability to thrive in discomfort.

Today, he is co-founder of The Obsidian Path, bringing these experiences together around one core belief: understanding ourselves more clearly allows us to make more conscious choices about where to invest our energy and how we move forward

His experience with individuals, athletes, professionals and organizations has led him to develop an approach centered on understanding the mechanisms that support — or limit — our ability to evolve.

Together with François, he developed The Obsidian Path as an approach designed to turn awareness into concrete and lasting transformation

Continue the Journey

Clarity is not the destination. It is the starting point.

Understanding what deserves your attention is a first step.

The Obsidian Path then offers experiences, workshops and courses allowing you to explore each of the six dimensions and gradually transform this awareness into concrete changes.

Meaning. Mindset. Motivation. Method. Habits. Environment.

Not to change everything at once.

To learn how to act in the right place, at the right time, with intention.
