The questionnaires, exercises and tools offered, including the Obsidian Mapping and the Lucidity and Integration Workbook, are not medical, psychological or diagnostic tests.

They are designed to encourage personal reflection and identify certain perceptions, priorities, frictions or possibilities for evolution.

There is no right or wrong answer.

The results should be interpreted as points for reflection and not as a professional assessment or a definitive conclusion about your personality, health or abilities.

6. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms and enter into a transaction.

The services are primarily intended for people aged 18 or over.

Minors must obtain permission from their parent or guardian when required.

  • The date;

  • The time;

  • The time zone;

  • The place;

  • The format of the activity;

  • Technical requirements;

  • The specific conditions indicated during registration.

12. Cancellation by the participant

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

[INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS]

Applicable reimbursements and fees are determined according to:

  • The nature of the product or service;

  • The time of the request;

  • The start or not of the activity;

  • The conditions displayed at the time of purchase;

  • The mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.

When an activity constitutes a course covered by Quebec legislation:

  • Cancellation before the start of the course can be made free of charge;

  • After the start of the course, payments for services already received may be required;

  • The applicable penalty will not exceed the amount permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any right of cancellation, termination or refund mandatorily granted by law.

13. Cancellation or modification by La Voie Obsidienne

The Obsidian Way may postpone, modify or cancel an activity for a reasonable reason, including:

  • Insufficient participation;

  • The unavailability of a facilitator;

  • An illness;

  • A technical problem;

  • An event beyond our control;

  • A situation of force majeure.

In the event of a complete cancellation, registered participants may receive, depending on the circumstances:

  • A refund;

  • A loan;

  • A position in a similar activity.

However, the choice offered cannot reduce the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by law.

The Obsidian Way is not responsible for personal expenses incurred by a participant, such as transportation, accommodation or loss of income, except where otherwise provided by law.

14. Purchases made remotely

Purchases made on the site generally constitute distance contracts.

Before the transaction, essential information regarding the product or service, its price, fees, delivery or execution methods, and applicable conditions will be presented.

A copy of the contract or a confirmation that can be saved and printed will be provided within the time frame stipulated by law.

You may have specific cancellation rights when the requirements for distance contracts are not met, in particular if:

  • Some mandatory information was not provided;

  • You are not receiving a certified copy of the contract;

  • The product or service is not delivered within the agreed timeframe;

  • The product or service does not match its description.

The rights provided by law remain applicable, regardless of any other provisions of these terms and conditions.

15. Refund Policy

Subject to the mandatory rights provided by law:

  • Applications are evaluated according to the conditions displayed at the time of purchase;

  • Services already rendered are generally non-refundable;

  • Digital content that has already been delivered or accessed may be non-refundable where permitted by law;

  • An absence from an activity does not automatically entitle you to a refund;

  • Approved refunds are made via the original payment method where possible;

  • Bank processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

In the event of a conflict between a commercial policy and a mandatory provision of the law, the latter prevails.

16. Intellectual Property

The site and all of its content belong to La Voie Obsidienne, its creators or its licensors.

This includes, in particular:

20. Confidentiality of group exchanges

During a workshop or group program, participants can share personal experiences.

Each participant agrees to respect the confidentiality of information shared by other people.

The Obsidian Way encourages this confidentiality, but cannot guarantee that another participant will always respect their commitment.

We recommend that you do not share any information that you do not want to be shared.

An activity will only be recorded when it is planned or announced.

When participants can be identified in a recording, the required consents will be obtained.

Participants are prohibited from recording, reproducing or disseminating any activity without prior written permission.

22. External Links and Services

The site may contain links to platforms or services operated by third parties.

The Obsidian Path does not control their content, availability, security, or practices.

The use of an external service may be subject to the terms and policies of its operator.

The presence of a link does not necessarily constitute a recommendation or endorsement.

23. Site availability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the availability and security of the site.

However, we do not guarantee that:

  • The site will be accessible without interruption;

  • All features will still be available;

  • The site will be error-free;

  • Technical problems will be corrected immediately;

  • The site will be compatible with all devices and browsers.

Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, security, or events beyond our control.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, La Voie Obsidienne is not liable for damages resulting from:

  • From inappropriate use of the content;

  • A decision made solely on the basis of a questionnaire or exercise;

  • Due to a temporary interruption of the site;

  • From a problem originating from an external supplier;

  • Unauthorized access caused by a user's failure to protect their credentials;

  • Inaccurate information provided by a user;

  • From an event beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

25. Protection of personal information

The collection and processing of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the site, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review this policy.

La Voie Obsidien will not be considered in default when an obligation cannot be performed due to an unforeseeable event or an event beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • A natural disaster;

  • A widespread breakdown;

  • A technological service interruption;

  • A health emergency;

  • A government decision;

  • A strike;

  • A conflict;

  • Any other event of force majeure recognized by law.

The obligations will be resumed as soon as reasonably possible.

27. Modification of conditions

These terms and conditions may be modified to reflect changes in services, practices, or legal requirements.

The date of the last update is indicated at the beginning of the document.

The terms and conditions applicable to a transaction are generally those presented at the time it is concluded, unless a modification is required by law or accepted by the parties.

28. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec and by the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec.

Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the rules provided by law.

No provision limits a consumer's right to bring a claim before the district court as provided by consumer protection laws.
